As we count the days until we get new Star Wars we decided to pass the time with a wholesome old 80s classic. We discuss the film The Ice Pirates from director Stewart Raffill. As we find out, this film wasn’t quite as wholesome as we remember, as its riddled with sophomoric humor and cringeworthy dialogue and jokes. It’s not all bad though, there is also the endearing, and just plain outlandish moments. This tonally dissonant film is like Star Wars, but with more castration and casual racism! Turn up your headphones, dial back your sensibilities, and join the wretched hive of scum and villainy as we take the low road to resistance on Season Six, Episode Forty Five of Force Insensitive!
